- Get outside and go for a walk. There’s much more to see outside than when you’re sitting at home.
- Look into sports or hobbies you’ve never had the chance to try. Instead of feeling bored, take advantage of your free time.
- Practice mindfulness through meditation. Becoming more aware of each moment and the things you see and do makes every moment much more rich and meaningful.
- Call a friend on the phone or on Skype.
- Find an organization to volunteer with – not only will this help keep you busy, but it will also give you a sense of purpose and responsibility to others. It can be as simple as volunteering at your local animal shelter to walk or play with the animals that are there!
